Meet Our Orthodontist

Dr. Scott Newhart is a pioneer in orthodontics, recognized internationally for his advanced orthodontic techniques. Other orthodontists from across the world study Dr. Newhart’s techniques and come to learn in our teaching facility. Dr. Newhart also holds baseline patents and many of his ideas have contributed to advanced technologies such as lingual braces and Invisalign.
Dr. Newhart and his wife Lynn have been married for over 20 years with two wonderful children, Todd and Damian, daughters-in-law Chris and Kirsten, and six beautiful grandchildren: Harley, Cody, Brady, Chloe, Sophie, and James. Together the Newharts stay very active in the greater Los Angeles community through fund-raisers, charities, schools, and community events.
Dr. and Mrs. Newhart enjoy spending most of their free time with family (pictured below) in California and Idaho. With six grandchildren, there’s always something going on – including school plays, mutton busting, rodeo, guitar lessons, boating, snow boarding, dance recitals, and horseback riding. Dr. and Mrs. Newhart also enjoy spending quiet time together with their dogs and horses on their lake ranch.
